Profile
In
addition to many years of consulting experience, Jim brings a valuable
regulatory background to his projects. From 1982 to 1985, he served as
the head of the Assured / Adequate Water Supply program at ADWR, where
he developed well spacing guidelines that are still in use today. Jim
has led or participated in a variety of water resource investigations
that have required him to design regional monitoring programs, evaluate
the efficacy of production and interceptor well fields, and assess water
quality issues. An additional area of interest and expertise is the complex
interaction between groundwater and surface water, an increasingly important
water rights issue in the semi-arid southwest.
