Her skills have been especially valuable for projects located in remote regions of South America, where field data are typically sparse. Janis also has extensive field experience; she has designed, installed, and tested production, injection, extraction, and monitor wells for a wide variety of water resource and environmental investigations. Another area of her interest and expertise is characterizing lithologic conditions in saturated and unsaturated media.
