Description
Responsible for oversight of a drilling / testing / monitoring program in a fractured-rock aquifer for a large-scale, open-pit mining operation in northern Chile.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years experience in hydrogeology
- Experience in large-scale drilling / testing projects and management of field personnel
- Able to live in Santiago or Iquique and commute to the job site on a weekly basis
- Able to work in high-altitude environment
- Advanced basic to mid-level Spanish language skills
- Preferred minimum 18-month commitment
- Experience working in fractured-rock aquifer systems and / or dewatering projects
- Experience in report writing

Hidrogeólogo Senior — Chile
Description

Requerimientos
- Mínimo de 10 años experiencia en hidrogeología
- Experiencia con proyectos de gran escala en las áreas de perforación/pruebas y el manejo de personal de campo
- Vivir en Santiago o Iquique e ir semanalmente a la obra Habilidad de vivir en un ambiente de alta altura
- Capacidad de trabajar en un en un ambiente de alta altura
- Capacidad lingüística del español avanzado básico a medio nivel
- Se prefiere un compromiso mínimo de 18 meses

Description
Assist in developing, planning, and executing water-resource and environmental projects in the firm’s Scottsdale office.
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years professional experience with water resources in the southwestern U.S., preferably in consulting
- Degree (preferably master’s) in geology, hydrology, or related discipline
- Professional registration in Arizona
- Strengths in team building and leadership, business development, project management, and verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with Arizona regulatory agencies and permitting programs preferred

Environmental Database Specialist — Tucson
Description
Provides database support and manages data streams for our Environmental Data Management Services and HydroGeoMetrics divisions. Working under the supervision of M&A project managers, this person is expected to exercise judgment and initiative within established guidelines; to prepare clear, concise, accurate reports, tables, and graphical illustrations; and to establish / maintain effective working relationships with project managers, staff, and clients. Duties include:
- Identifying, organizing, and managing data and documents
- Developing data management strategies to ensure the timely, efficient retrieval of information
- Implementing data validation procedures within a database environment
- Coordinating / communicating with chemical laboratories about data sets
- Processing and validating time-series data
- Assisting in the development of project-specific databases for environmental projects
- Coordinating the validation of lab data between the QA/QC department and database management team
- Conducting queries, preparing report formats, and preparing data for use by clients and other M&A professionals
- Exporting data for use in GIS applications
- Providing support for monitoring reports and data collection programs
Requirements
- BA/BS in earth sciences, chemistry, computer science, or an associated field
- Experience in database maintenance and management, including quality control and integrity procedures
- Experience in the use of Excel, SQL, MySQL, Access, ArcGIS; experience with EnviroData is preferred
- Familiarity with water quality data, laboratory analytical procedures, data validation, and compliance with state and federal water quality regulations (preferred)
