He specializes in using field, analytical, and numerical methods to characterize hydrogeologic conditions in the near surface and vadose zone for environmental and recharge projects. He won two awards for his pilot-scale tests of in-situ chemical oxidation: the 2000 Raytheon Innovation Award and the 2001 National Ground Water Association commendation for an outstanding project.
