Profile
Brittney joined M&A in 2010 while completing her master’s degree at the University of Arizona. Her thesis work involved using isotope tracers to investigate the influence of groundwater flow paths on microbial generation in areas with coalbed methane. In addition to leading several sampling campaigns with gas companies in Powder River and Illinois basins, she analyzed water samples using IC, ICP-OES, and coulometry for major and minor ion chemistry. Brittney’s chemistry background is an asset to field investigations, especially those featuring hard-rock environments at planned or existing mine sites. An experienced hydrologic modeler, she also contributes to data analysis and GIS tasks on a variety of M&A projects.
