Profile
Mike has been developing GIS and database applications for over 20 years to analyze and represent complex spatial data. He has constructed three-dimensional models of aquifers, developed project maps that overlay various data sets, and integrated real-time field data with web interfaces. His GIS applications often incorporate aerial and satellite images, which allow us to evaluate environmental and hydrogeologic conditions over large areas. These GIS-based tools also provide a means of displaying subsurface information through traditional two-dimensional cross-sections and three-dimensional views that incorporate animations.
