Profile
In addition to many years of consulting experience with M&A, Jim brings a valuable regulatory background to his projects. From 1982 to 1985, he served as the head of the Assured / Adequate Water Supply Program at ADWR, where he developed the well spacing guidelines that are still in use today. Jim has an in-depth knowledge of permitting processes that apply at local, state, and federal levels for aquifer protection, environmental, and well construction projects, among other applications. In addition to his expertise in all aspects of developing water supplies, he has extensive experience investigating subsurface conditions at mining, power generation, and hazardous waste sites.
Jim served as the Tucson Section Chair of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration in 2002, 2003, and 2010; the Pacific Southwest Region Chair in 2006; and Arizona Chapter Vice-Chair in 2010.
