Profile
Tim Leo has a wealth of experience managing large, multidisciplinary remediation projects. He has developed groundwater models to design and optimize remedial wellfields and provided technical support for environmental litigation. His leadership has been essential to a groundwater remediation project near Sacramento, California, leadership that spanned the project’s initial characterization through its remedy implementation and into its monitoring and reporting phase. At this site, he successfully obtained regulatory and public approvals for a feasibility study, remedial action plan, and remedial design for treating volatile organics and perchlorate in soils and groundwater.
Other project experience includes coordinating a comprehensive assessment of seeps, springs, and groundwater at a large tailings impoundment in west-central Arizona, and directing field sampling, data analysis, conceptual model development, and reporting efforts for various water resource and environmental projects. Tim is a senior member of our Hydrologic Modeling team, where he directs studies for a range of applications.
